I was MIA for a moment there :)
The fam and I went on a little get away and I've been working on quite a few things since we got back.

The food you had looks amazing! My parents are going on a cruise in a week, which got Mike and I wondering just how vegan friendly they are. Looks like fun, other than the "sea sick" day. :)

ReplyDeleteI was so surprised at how many vegan options were available and the hostess and chef were so accommodating.
My wife and I went on the Celebrity Summit from Jan28 to Feb4, 2012 and there were TONS of vegan options.
ReplyDeleteWe did have to pre-order our dinners the night before each meal with the Assistant Maitre D. It was DELICIOUS!
Glenn, I'm so glad to hear that! I'm hoping that if we cruise other lines, there will be just as many options and just as delicious.

I came across your posts on Cruise Critic days before my very first cruise (3-day aboard Carnival Imagination to Ensenada for my cousin's bachelorette party), and I have to say that your tips truly saved me! The chef was able to prepare me vegan meals each night for dinner, and they were amazing! I was able to find some decent breakfast options too, including soy milk. I wasn't able to get to Mongolian wok in time for lunch on the last day, but I was still able to find stuff to eat from the buffet. Thank you for sharing your cruise eating vegan-style experience :).
