Kid Licks, Edible Nail polish, Review
I discovered Kids Licks Nail Polish at Expo West this year and was immediately intrigued!
My oldest, K owns a few non toxic nail polishes, or I should say the least toxic we could find, until we found Kids Licks. Commercial nail polishes generally contain acetone, toluene, formaldehyde and other chemicals known to be carcinogenic. Even the polishes made for children or those that claim to be natural, contain artificial dyes and ingredients you wouldn't want your little ones ingesting.
Kids Licks is actually edible! It's food based, made of fruits, veggies and plants, and washes off with soap and water. They are also Organic, Vegan, and Cruelty Free! Amazing, right?
K has been trying out the Beet Red. They also have Barley Grass Green and Sour Carrot Orange!
S joined in too. He had to have his toes painted!
Yes, we did actually try it and it tastes like bbq sauce! lol!
Completely food based coloring and so very vibrant!
We really love it! I am so pleased that I don't have to worry about them breathing in toxins or accidentally getting some on their face or in their mouths. I wish I had this when the littles first started wanting to paint their nails!
What makes me love Kid Licks even more is hat they are a family owned company. They saw a need for a food based nail polish with their own children and created an amazing product for all us to enjoy. Thank You KidLicks!
